VIENTIANE, Lao PDR: July,29th, 2009 – Ford Motor Company today launched the 2009 edition of the Fourth Annual Ford Motor Company Conservation and Environmental Grants in the Lao PDR., cosponsored by Lao Ford City Co., Ltd. Total grants of USD $20,000 will be awarded to projects in the areas of “conservation and preservation of the environment” and “child and youth”.

February 4th, 2008 Vithaya LAXAVADY outplayed Sengdeun 2-1 in the finals of the men singles to win the 3rd Lao Ford City tennis tournament at the Vientiane Tennis Club on the Friday.

Ford Laos sales rise above expectations
2007 has been a very important year for Lao Ford City, including the opening of our new showroom and service center, which can service 25 vehicles per day.
Sales increased in 2007 over 100 % and are expected to increase further in 2008. A service center opened in Gnommalath District, Khammuan Province and the company plans new branches in the major cities like Savannakhet, Champasack and Luangprabang in the coming years.
